One Last Debug Before We Reboot đ»âš

Howdy Vision Debuggers! đ”
Weâve been putting this off for weeks.
Typing. Deleting. Rewriting.
Because how do you even begin to say goodbye to something you poured your hearts into?
Here goesâŠ
The Vision, Debugged ends today. đ„č
After 120+ editions, countless hours of writing, researching, laughing, and shipping⊠this is our final send.
And no, itâs not because we ran out of AI things to talk about (lol, as if).
Itâs because we believe that great things donât always end with a bangâ
Sometimes, they quietly bow out to make space for whatâs next.
But before we get there, let us take you back for a momentâŠ

đ How It All BeganâŠ
Just over a year ago, weâSandra (your friendly neighbourhood PM) and Tezan (the data scientist turned dev)âwere nerding out over AI research papers & moonshot product ideas.
We loved delving into AI research and dissecting product strategies, and soon realised that this space is changing too fast for most folks to keep pace, understand & appreciate the nuances, and most of all, upskill themselves & apply the novel ways of AI in their day-to-day lives.
Thatâs when we thought, âHey, what if we helped others decode this chaos too?â
And if youâre wondering how it all actually beganâŠ
Hereâs the very first WhatsApp chat that kicked it all off, when one random thought turned into a full-blown side questâŠ

Proof that the coolest ideas donât start in boardroomsâthey often start with emojis and impulse.
So we launched a tiny experiment: a newsletter.
We called it The Vision, Debuggedâour little attempt at making sense of a rapidly changing future.
Not with a roadmap. Not with a strategy deck.
But with a vibe, a dream, and a healthy dose of caffeine.
Over time, we reached over 120 editions and crossed 1000+ subscribers organically. Every time a reader replied or shared an edition, we felt it.
This wasnât just a side project.
It has been a part of us.

𧩠How âSpark & Troubleâ Came to Be
To keep things fun, we gave ourselves nicknames & turned them into our mascots:
đĄ Spark (Sandra, always full of ideas)
đ§ Trouble (Tezan, always poking holes in them)
Together?
Two quirky puzzle pieces that somehow⊠fit.
And since we were deep in the world of AI, we decided to let AI help create themâŠ
(we even spent considerate time deciding those items that the mascots hold, so that it relates well with the both of us)

We fired up some of the earliest versions of image generators and began a hilarious exploration to design our dynamic duo. After several iterations, mishaps, and quirky moments,
Spark & Trouble were born.
We never thought these two would be the thing that stuck.
Honestly, they were a fun experimentâa nod to the chaotic beauty of DevâPM relationships.
But somewhere along the wayâŠ
People stopped asking âHey, howâs your newsletter going?â
And started saying, âWhatâs Spark & Trouble up to this week?â
Thatâs when we knew weâd built something you connected with.
Not just a newsletter, but two puzzle pieces you came to know and trust.

đž Snapshots from our Debugged Dinners
Weâre both unapologetic foodies, so every milestone became a reason to celebrate at a cafĂ© weâd been eyeing.
From the first edition to the 50th, and even the 100th, we marked them all with good food and even better conversationâŠ
We don't always click pictures of ourselves, but heyâscroll down and youâll find some Studio Ghibli-style glimpses of those evenings (AI-assisted, of course).

Post-1st Edition Dinner at Anthm
(feat. wide grins & wild dreams)

Post-50th Edition Catch-Up at The Fishermanâs Wharf (somewhere between burnout & banter)
And, as for the 100th edition? Well, we did celebrate⊠but apparently, we only took aesthetic shots of the food đ. Priorities, right?

đ§ So⊠Why Are We Closing This Chapter?
Short answer: Because itâs time to level up.
Long answer:
Weâve always believed in the âdebug, then deployâ philosophy. And as creators in the fast-moving world of AI, we realized this newsletter, awesome as itâs been, was Version 1.
Weâve outgrown the structure. And we owe it to you (and ourselves) to build something sharper, smarter, and more aligned with where the world of AI is headed.
And as creators? Thatâs our job.
To listen. To learn. To iterate. To reboot.
So now, itâs time for Version 2, withâŠ
A sharper format.
A stronger focus.
A bolder brand.
Well, for all our readers out there, this is not a shutdown.
Itâs a system update.

đ Thank You
Youâve let us nerd out, experiment, and learn out loud.
You made Spark & Trouble come alive.
You gave two curious minds a platform to write, teach, and share every single week.
And for thatâweâll always be grateful.
Youâve made this journey unforgettable.
Seriouslyâif youâve ever read, liked, forwarded, or just smiled at one of shenanigans, thank you đ

đ Whatâs Next?
Wait⊠You Thought That Was the End?
Come on, you know Spark & Trouble better than that đ
Yes, this chapter of The Vision, Debugged is closingâŠ
But the story isnât over.
Theyâre already tinkering. Plotting. Building.
Something fresher. âš
Something sharper. âĄ
Something that fits right into your scroll but sticks in your mind.
No big announcements (yet).
But letâs just say⊠the next drop might come in 3s. đ
Stay curious.
Spark & Trouble will be back real soon.
Until then, with gratitude, curiosity, and just a hint of chaosâ | ![]() |
